Verjus de Bourgoin is a 100% plant-based, alcohol-free grape juice
made from late-harvest Ugni-Blanc grapes. Benefiting from rare Creta
ceous (Middle Cenomanian) subsoils, the Bourgoin vineyard produces
100% Ugni-Blanc grapes. The low planting density, around 2,750 vines
per hectare, allows each vine to produce 6 kg of high-acid grapes,
which are usually used to produce quality Cognacs. However, in this
case, the high-acid grapes were used to produce a wonderful, hand
crafted sour grape juice.
