This pastis is inspired by artisanal anise-flavored liquor recipes developed by the Tropéziens in the 1950s. But it is slightly up to date, with a revisited version of Marseille pastis enhanced with notes of plants characteristic of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez such as orange blossom or fig. But also with a touch of sweet almond that will appeal to lovers of “Mauresque”!
